Residency Program
The residency program in Emergency Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is a three year course of practice that is home to twelve full time faculty and twenty four residents. The resident physician in our program is challenged with a variety of rotation experiences including a ground and air transport component. ^^ EM-3 residents will participate in one month of emergency transport for ACH. This will include both helicopter and ground transport. Flying is not mandatory, but all residents in the EM-3 class will do ground transport.
